Walter Defortuna is a founder and Chairman of the Board of Fortune Title. He was also a founder and principal in Fortune International Realty, Inc., founded in 1983, which he has developed into one of the largest privately held real estate brokerage firms based in South Florida. Fortune Realty today has in excess of 600 real estate brokers and 17 offices around the world. Over the last thirty years Mr. Defortuna has been involved in all aspects of the real estate business including as a real estate investor, developer, as well as the brokerage business. Mr. Defortuna’s expertise in virtually every aspect of the real estate business makes him a sought after advisor to many of the leading real estate developers and investors in South Florida.

Peter J. Yanowitch

Peter J. Yanowitch is a founder and President of Fortune Title. Mr. Yanowitch has been practicing law in South Florida for over 25 years. For the past fifteen years he has been the principal attorney at Yanowitch Law, P.A. and has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate law, including the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, closings, real estate developments, leasing, investments, and related litigation. For the past five years Mr. Yanowitch has acted as the outside general counsel for Fortune International Realty, and as general counsel for several other leading real estate developers in South Florida.
